On February 28, 2026, singles from across Elim Communities will gather at the Fu Jen Faculty of Theology, Taiwan for a weekend of clarity, courage, and fellowship. Whether you’re wondering what to expect, how to register, or even how to prepare for your first trip abroad, we’ve got you covered.

It aims to offer clarity and courage in a time of confusion about love, dating, and commitment

Participants can expect inspired, biblical teachings, fun and fellowship with other singles, free time to go around Taiwan and explore the sights. Of course, delegates can look forward to God’s wonderful touch throughout the weekend.

No need to worry about food, since lunch and afternoon snacks will be served. However, feel free to bring candies or biscuits.

13. For First-time Travelers

Not to worry! Here are some guidelines for first-time travelers:

  1. Get passports as early as possible. Visas are not required.

  2. Book flights early.

  3. Take note of additional fees such as travel tax and airport terminal fees.

  4. Take note of flight/airline requirements such as maximum baggage. Leave space for extra weight from shopping.

  5. Take note of the weather and pack accordingly.

  6. Put tags and locks on luggage.

  7. Take note of which terminal you have to be in, and be at the airport three hours before your flight.

  8. Once you arrive at the airport, here’s what you need to do:

    1. Present your ticket and passport upon entrance.

    2. Have your luggage, hand-carry bags and purses scanned at the X-ray machines.

    3. Have yourself checked by the security personnel.

    4. Proceed to the designated check-in counter (look for “Taipei” or “TPE” and your flight number).

    5. Present your ticket and passport at the counter, and indicate which of your baggage will be checked in. Make sure your luggage has met the weight requirements; otherwise, you will need to pay an amount depending on how overweight your luggage is. More often than not, each person is only allowed one luggage.

    6. Receive your boarding pass from the person behind the counter.

    7. Proceed to pay the airport tax.

    8. After that, you will need to have your hand-carry bags and purses scanned, as well as our shoes.

    9. Have yourself checked again by the security personnel.

    10. Get all your bags and shoes!

    11. Proceed to your gate. Check your boarding time.

    12. While waiting, you can go buy yourself a snack! Just make sure you never leave your bags unattended. And make sure you’re at the gate for boarding time.

    13. Once it’s time to board, line up and get on the plane!

Note: Yes, this is a whole lot of information (and only the beginning!), so here’s a great suggestion ─ travel with a group of singles who already know the ropes of traveling, so you can just ask them what you need to do every step of the way. Besides, it’s more fun!
