1. What is the Elim Couples Time Out Weekend? 

The Elim Couples Time Out Weekend is a romantic and inspirational vacation for married couples, with special sessions on couples-related topics.

3. What is the Elim Couples?

The Elim Couples is Elim Communities’ ministry for married couples. It is dedicated to uplifting marital relationships in Christ through its Time Out Campaign, the various components of which are designed to work together to prepare, complete, restore, preserve, and perfect marriages in the light of God’s Word and plan.

 

4. What is Elim Communities?

Elim Communities is a global family of Catholic communities serving in faith, hope, and love.

 

5. What can we expect at the Elim Couples Time Out Weekend?

You can expect inspired, biblical teachings to help deepen your marital relationship, fun and fellowship with other couples and, more importantly, exclusive bonding time with your spouse. It’s up to you to make it as enjoyable as you want it to be! Of course, you can expect God’s wonderful touch upon your marriage throughout the weekend.

 

6. What is the schedule for the Time Out Weekend?

The general schedule is as follows:

      • June 6, Saturday      1:30 PM to 8:00 PM

      • June 7, Sunday        8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

 

The schedule is designed in such a way for you to be able to maximize your weekend. Those who want more time to explore the city may choose to check-in a day or two before, with all the exciting places to visit and experience!

 

7. How much is the registration fee?

Early Bird Rate:   $200 per couple (until April 15, 2026)

Regular Rate:      $250 per couple (April 16 to May 31, 2026)

The registration fee includes access to the event, an event kit, Saturday snacks and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch. Please note that travel and lodging expenses are not part of the fee. The deadline for registration is May 31, 2026.

9. What is not included with the fee?

Transportation to and from the venue is not included in the registration fee. You’ll also have to make your own lodging and tour arrangements, as well as meals outside the sessions.

 

On-site rooms are available for $110 per night and can be reserved as you register. Please note that slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

10. When and where is the start of the conference?

Registration starts at 1:00 PM of June 6, 2026, at the San Pedro Spiritual Development Center. The address is 95 Bishop Grady Lane, Winter Park, FL 32792.

 

11. Will the sessions be held indoors or outdoors?

The sessions will be held indoors, in a function room.

 

12. Are there any special things we should bring to the sessions?

Please bring your personal Bibles and pens to take down notes.

 

13. What is the suggested attire?

You may attend the sessions in casual attire.

 

14. Can we bring food to the sessions?

No need to worry about food—Saturday’s snacks and dinner, as well as Sunday’s breakfast and lunch, will all be served.

 

15. Can we bring our kids with us to this event?

The Elim Couples Time Out Weekend is especially designed for husbands and wives, and is not meant to be a family vacation. It is best for you to not bring along your children so that you may be able to focus on one another during this time. However, if it is absolutely necessary (as in the case of an infant being breastfed), then you may bring along your baby.

Meet the Elim Couples Directors

Dr Moses Catan and Dondi Catan

Dondi and Moses Catan

Dr. Moses Catan holds a PhD in Theology, majoring in Biblical Theology, from the Loyola School of Theology at Ateneo de Manila University. He serves as a faculty member at the Loyola School of Theology, St. Vincent School of Theology, Divine Word Mission Seminary, and Maryhill School of Theology.


He is currently the Director for Corporate Renewal and Integral Evangelization of MAPECON Philippines, Inc., and the Director for Scripture and Evangelization of Elim Communities.


Dondi Catan is one of Elim’s Vision Directors and works as the Managing Director of Progressive Little Saints Learning Center.


Together, Moses and Dondi are Directors of Elim Missions, the ministry that oversees 185 communities across the Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Canada and the United States. They are also Directors of Elim Couples, a ministry dedicated to uplifting marital relationships in Christ.


They are blessed with three flourishing sons–Noah (28), Michael (26), and Raphael (24).
