New Year 2026 Message from the Elim Vision Directors

Happy New Year, Elim family!

We all know that in 2030, Elim Communities will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee. As we journey toward that milestone, we are intentionally setting aside the next five years as our pre-Jubilee years—a time of preparation, reflection, and renewal.

2026: The Year of Humility

This year, 2026, is our year of preparation, and our theme is Humility. We anchor this year on the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:29: “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for yourselves.”

Humility is the first of Elim’s three touchstone virtues: humility, obedience, and faithfulness. It is where true discipleship begins. Humility grounds us in the truth that everything we are and everything we have comes from God, and that our mission can only be fulfilled when we walk in dependence on Him.

Our Goals for 2026

As a community, our goals for this year are clear:

• Intentional Growth: We commit to making 2026 a true preparation year for our Golden Jubilee by intentionally growing in the virtue of humility.

• Personal Reflection: We invite every Elim dweller to deepen this virtue personally through prayer, reflection, repentance, and a teachable heart.

• Outward Action: We move outward, reaching out to the poor and the marginalized, intentionally performing acts of humility in our families, our communities, and our ministries.

  
  

As we begin this year together, may we truly learn from Jesus, our Lord, who is meek and humble of heart. May He prepare us not just for a celebration in 2030, but for deeper faithfulness, greater unity, and a more Christ-centered Elim in the years to come.
