The mission of the Word Ministry is “to proclaim the Good News” (Mark 16:15) in the Philippines and the world. The Word Ministry ensures that dwellers of Elim Communities learn the whole Word of God, through Bible studies during gatherings and events, as well as through personal study. The Word Ministry also sees to the continuous training and development of Elim teachers of the Word, so that they will be effective, Spirit-filled and doctrinally-sound proclaimers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Pathways is a seminar whereby participants are given the opportunity to have a special, life-changing encounter with God. It is a venue where they begin to take the first steps in a new and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, and is an introduction to a life lived in the power of the Holy Spirit through Elim Communities.

The Intercession ministry fuels Elim Communities with the power of prayer. Members of the Intercession ministry regularly intercede for all community events and petitions.

“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.” (Philippians 4:6)

The Koinonia Group is the basic cell group in the life of Elim. Koinonia – pronounced koy-nohn-ee-ah – is a Greek word that connotes sharing, unity, close association, partnership, participation, a communion, a fellowship, contributory help, the brotherhood. Koinonia is a unity brought about by the Holy Spirit. 

Whereas Elim dwellers come together as one body during its various gatherings, the Koinonia Group brings together committed Elim dwellers into smaller groups. Regular dwellers of the various Elim communities who desire a deeper life in community may apply for a Koinonia Group.

The Elim Ministry of Healing is a response to the Lord’s call for believers in Jesus to proclaim the Gospel to every creature, to cast out demons in the name of Jesus and to lay hands on the sick so that they will recover. The ministry , supported by the prayers of the Elim Ministry of Intercession, is available to minister healing to sick members of Elim and other persons who are in need of healing and deliverance, through the Biblical prayer of faith and the laying on of hands, in the name of Jesus Christ.
 

“These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents [with their hands], and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18 NABRE)
